- Had Pre-primary and Early Education in Governmental Middle School, Deeg.
- Passed grade XI in 1962 from Government Multipurpose Hr. Secondary School, Bharatpur with Science and Mathematics
- Joined M.S.J. College, Bharatpur, and did his under graduation in English Literature, Hindi Literature and Philosophy in 1965
- Joined the Department of English, University of Rajasthan, in July 1965 and passed out in 1967.
